Embroidering on noses, smiles, eyebrows etc. can be difficult but I got better at this with practice – and patience… There are lots of different methods but I found the following method best for me:
1. I find it helpful to put pins in to mark where I want the embroidery to be

2. Insert your yarn needle an inch or so away from your first pin, remove the pin and pull your needle through where it was

3. Put the needle in at the next pin and bring back out where you started or at another pin. Keep doing this until you come to the end

4. When you insert your needle for the last time, bring it back out at the same hole you inserted it in at the very beginning

5. Tie a knot with the 2 yarn ends

6. Insert your needle into the hole, under the knot, and bring it out an inch or so away

7. Cut the ends

8. Squish the stuffing around until the ends of the yarn go inside the piece and can no longer be seen, or you can insert your needle and move the stuffing around a little

All finished!

If you are embroidering something that needs to be filled in, like a nose, do the outline first, infill as neatly as you can then do another outline if needed
